Let's talk about the coming Autumn and dreary winter that is charging towards us , and the warm breeze of spring and summer starts to become a distant memory until it returns next year!
As you are all thinking, here we go again, how can we prepare ourselves for the this onslaught of less sunshine , darker and longer days that bring our mood down and we turn into hibernating mice! Or is that just me?
So to combat this I’m embarking on a new regime of self care ,How, I hear you all shouting ! lots of things really and these are just what I’m going to do so you might have to tailor my list to you’re personal needs ,but here are mine ;
Firstly increase my vitamin D levels to around 20,000iug with vitamin k2,and any opportunity catch those all important rays of sunshine when you can, next in the depths of the winter I m going to take a months membership to my local health spa and benefit from the saunas dry and wet and the pool, always great for motivating your brain and moving more, get out into nature when you can I have my Ginny Weasley so we will be out running around the countryside as much as possible and vary it up by cold winter day trips to the Suffolk Beaches which after the end of September are now doggy accessible, and then I shall be getting busy in the kitchen by harvesting natures own cure all Rosehips and making Rosehip syrup packed with massive amounts of Vitamin C and antioxidants a great addition to your new winter blues beating routine, and let’s not forget you can also top up on your essential fatty acids, Omega3 and 6 and polyunsaturated fats by slathering on that wonderful Rosehip seed Oil helping to protect you from those cold winter winds and pollution and keeping your skin nourished and feeling elastic and plump, oh yes and drink plenty of lemon water and a wooden spoonful of raw local honey if you can, and don’t forget the odd Magnesium flake Bath[I do love a bath} to relax those bones and aid a peaceful nights sleep a reset for your mind!
Well, that’s a few things to help me through the coming months and hope that you might try a few as well
Love Jus, Ginny xx
